Situation:
The following message appears:
"Error 1685 Multiple long names or links, File %lu. Click OK to cancel conversion."

Solution:
The NTFS file system has multiple directory entries for a single file (hard links). FAT only supports one long name and one short name per file.

To resolve this problem, identify the files that have hard links and delete all but one name per file.
